RE: Email news release 11/15/2021

Members of the Medina Water Corporation recently received an email indicating that MWSC had received a TCEQ violation. We want to assure you this had nothing to do with the actual quality of the water being provided to you.

Your water supply is monitored daily by the MWSC for proper chlorine levels. The results of this monitoring are provided to a third party vendor we have hired to, among other things, prepare the quarterly reports and submit them to the Texas Commissions on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Our vendor was late in providing the 2d Quarter report thus prompting TCEQ to cite us for late reporting.

We have discussed this with the vendor and have taken corrective action to ensure prompt reporting in the future.

Again, this is an administrative issue and has nothing to do with your supply of safe water.
