Boil Water Notice Rescinded
1/14/2026
On 1/12/2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Medina Water Supply public water system, TX0100013, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 1/14/2026.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Kevin Ayers at (830) 353-7982.

Medina WSC Customers -
MWSC has experienced several water outages recently. This is believed to be caused by ground movement as a result of the continuing drought. We expect further outages until conditions improve. We are addressing each problem as rapidly as possible. We advise all customers to consider some type of water storage which can be used for drinking and cooking as well as for use in toilets during these water shortages. Thank you for your patience as we address repairs.
